Wheel Throwing -
You will learn the basics of wheel throwing, including centering and wedging to release air bubbles. You will also be shown the proper use of tools and glazing techniques to decorate. When completed you will have 3 - 5 finished pieces that can be used in the home.

The class will consist of two 3 hour sessions (6 hrs total) schedule is open to fit your schedule.

Classes are limited to 2 students.
Hand Sculpting - Clay hand building class
Make a coil pot, mold a plaque, a small outdoor scene, make a mug or maybe create a funky animal. There is no limit to what you can make. These classes last 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
Classes are $21 for kids and $25 for adults. Price includes 1 hour of instruction with a ball of clay, use of tools, all paints, glazing and firings. Once your class is over you can stay and work on additional pieces, for an additional $15 per piece.

We teach you the proper way to create a project from clay. Then there are two options:
a) paint the project on the same day (add another hour+)
b) fire the project and return to paint
For both clay project options the projects have to dry for at least a week before they can be fired. They have to be 100% dry or they can explode in the kiln.
Make a Taco Fish
This class is designed for kids of all ages. You will create a
unique masterpiece and paint it all in one visit.
Class includes 1 hour of instruction, clay, glaze & firing.
Plan for 2 - 2 1/2 hours to complete project.
Cost: $ 21.00 includes tax.

Firing services
We offer firing of your greenware & bisque items. One piece to a
full load.
We support low fire Cone 04 / 06 clays & glazes in the big kiln.
We can now fire to Cone 6 in our new smaller kiln.
Pricing will be determined based on size of piece. As low as $5.
Full large kiln cone 06 fire $125.
Large loads will have additional charges for loading and unloading.
Using our undercoats or clear glaze dipping is extra.
6" x 6" tiles $1.50 per tile (your underglaze & finish glaze)
4" x 4" tiles $1.00 per tile (your underglaze & finish glaze)

Each student will bring in some old electronics which will then be deconstructed and reconstructed to create unique sculpture.

Self Portraits
In this class everyone will learn about different ways to create successful and unique self portraits of themselves. We go over parts of the face and facial proportions depending on the age of the participants. Makes great presents for family members!
